After going independent to fulfill its ambitions of making a successful live-service game, Epic Games started working on Fortnite. It is an ever-evolving live-service title with weekly, as well as seasonal content that pushes the game's narrative and adds nuances to the gameplay, all the while providing new explorable and playable maps.įortnite is developed by Epic Games, the studio responsible for the first three Gears of War games and the prequel Gears of War: Judgement.
